Like many of us, Debbie is a pet owner and true animal lover. She always wondered why there were so few options when it came to reliable, quality pet care especially since so many of us travel frequently and lead hectic lives. In 2001, Debbie left behind a successful 25 year career in auditing to found A+ Pets and Plants and pursue her true passion: putting a smile on the faces of pets (and their owners!). She has successfully completed the Pet Sitters International Certification Program.
Ten years later, A+ Pets and Plants is proud to be considered one of Augusta's premier Pet Sitting companies, providing dependable and caring service to the greater Augusta metropolitan area.

Kevin (Debbie’s son)
has been dedicated to the family pet business . He has
been walking dogs, petting kitties, and loving all our
furry friends for
more than 5 years now. In addition to his pet sitting
duties, he has been an excellent trainer for our new
employees. Kevin also worked at a local Doggy Day Care
for 3+ years. Currently a college student, attending the
University of Georgia, his time is limited. However, he
still finds the time to help us on the weekends and
holidays. Kevin will continue to be a true asset to the
company for years to come (or until he graduates!).
Kevin’s personal pets include: Mary Jane, Marley,
Fender, Oliver and Chico.

Maggie joined our team recently. She brings with her vast experience working dogs and cats. She spends most of her days working as a veterinary assistant at Aiken Pet Fitness and Rehabilitation, where she works on dogs that are overweight, geriatric, or that have just had surgery. She also works at a local doggy day care. When she is not visiting and caring for our loved ones or busy with her other pet responsibilities, she continues her education at Augusta State University.
Maggie has one main companion and three rescue dogs. Their names are Waylon, Rex, Sadie, and Kaya.

Jana will be graduating this spring from Augusta State University with a Bachelors in Business Management. She has been working with animals for more than 5 years, including positions at veterinary clinics and doggy day cares. In addition to her passion for animals, Jana is an avid photographer. Many of her pet portraits can be viewed on our website.
At home Jana cares for her children; Lucy (bulldog/birddog mix) and Maggie (jack russell/chihuahua mix).

Grace is currently an honors student attending Augusta State University, and plans to transfer to MCG in the Fall. In addition to her love for animals Grace enjoys working with children. She has been working with us for 5 years now and has become part of our family.
Grace is the proud owner of 5 cats and 3 dogs.

Ashley is
currently a student at Augusta State University. She
will graduate in May with a Bachelors in Business
Management. Ashley is an avid scuba diver, certified as
both a dive master and a rescue diver. She also has a
great passion for photography and loves taking photos of
our furry friends. She has been surrounded by pets
her whole life and tries to bring in any strays that she
finds.
Ashley has 1 dog, Lilly and 1 cat, Ms. Kitty. She
also helps take care of her parents greyhounds, Indy and
Fiji.
